I love Brett Dennen, I'm a big fan of anything ginger anyway. And I love love Natalie Merchant. The song was originally recorded as a solo show for Bret's 'Hope For The Hopeless', before he dragged Natalie to the studio for this update, which then appeared on the sixth season of Grey's Anatomy where it caught my attention. Because it's good, and the only ever use the best songs on that show.
