It's a bit of Kate Nash, a tad of Polly Scattergood, maybe a dash of Lily Allen, maybe not, and a pinch of Patty Griffin, and whatever else there is or has been around in Singer/Songwriter-ish ladies. My point: It's totally unique. And I like and love it. What else? Lucy Rose seems to be from London, at least that's what it says on her minimalistic Facebook info page. Anyway, perfect soundtrack to this Saturday.
