Ha, I love it. No matter what song, and there are many, 'better off without you' is always a good line to sing. First of all, it's a sentence we all like to believe in, sooner or later. Secondly, it adds a positive touch to an unpleasant feeling. Last but not least, it kind of portraits an attitude somewhere between whatever-and-how-reasonable-am-I. A reasonable rebel, if you like. I, personally, do.
