Echo Lake is also the name of the London five piece, who have released their debut album, Wild Peace. Even The Blind features Linda on vocals, with layers of shimmering guitars providing the rhythms to the driving beat of the song.

The band is composed of Robert Alfons and Maya Postepski (also of the band Austra). Pretty nice mix, I'd say.

Azure Blue is the new solo project from Tobias Isaksson. I personally haven't heard of either. Tobias is a songwriter and a colorful profile on the Swedish pop scene. Really? His old bands Irene and Laurel Music attracted worldwide recognition, documented from The Allmusic Guide to the blogosphere, but this is a brand new start. Haven't heard of those bands either. But this song sounds lovely.

North To South East To You is a single by a guy, a superb slow burner off a self-titled debut. Once again that guy hooked up with somebody for the video, a slow-mo study of every metal-heads delight, the wall of death. It's a beautifully violent accompaniment to the gloriously triumphant track and is coming directly at you now.
