On her debut album, Kelela flirted with disappearance . She was a presence but threatened to dissolve into a shadow of an echo. Rewind is different - her voice, breathy as ever, holds its own among toughened-up bass and drums, hurdling octaves and locking into laser-guided melismatic runs.
