For whatever reason, I never got into Neon Bibel until recently. But I remember walking through a record store at the time, on a date. The other guy got offended that an apparently unkown band was number one. I knew we wouldn't get far because not knowing Arcade Fire after Funeral says more about you than the state of the charts.
