OMG, Weyes Blood had me at male mermaids! The second thing you'll notice about Seven Words is its closeness. Tinged with a gentle honesty that recalls the finest folk music made on the West Coast in the ‘70s, it draws out emotion from the songs’ sound in evocative, bold color.
