Special, I'd say. Very special. Truly beautiful, which a touch of uncanny. I want the lamps and the sofa from the video! Anyway, Scala is a girls choir from Belgium, about 60 girls between 14 an 24 years of age. So it's all a bit Lolita, if you know what i mean.

In order to celebrate 'Barbara', the brand new and fantastic album by We Are Scientists, I decided not to post the new video 'Rules Don't Stop', but my favorite: 'The Great Escape'.As always, the genius innocence on their first album 'With Love And Squalor' is a teeny weeny bit more exciting than the stuff they produce these days.

Bonaparte is Berlin all over. It's the sound (ok it has a touch of brit), it's definitely the looks, and most of all the lyrics: stuff like 'who is google anyway' and 'i'm your glory hole to the universe' can only be composed by a band based in Germany's capital. Bonaparte is Swiss founded though, born in Barcelona, and consists of 8 members from Germany, France, Austria, Poland, Panama, New Zealand, Brasil and of course, Switzerland. It's basically the whole World Cup in one band!

Next. Since I feature any video that is longer than eight minutes, I had to go with this one, as well as any new Gaga vids recently. Apparently "Gaga's work with Steven Klein, Madonna's favorite director, resulted an ultimate reference to Madonna's best videos". Wonder if that means he basically didn't have any new ideas. Well it looks stylish anyway.

From Melbourne, Australia. Again! What's going on down there, are they casting '80s sound-alike talent by the minute? Apparently it's electro-pop with a disco-house throwback style, and they were influenced by Prince and Abba. Apart from Marlboro man going all vegetarian, I am all for it.

So it's pop music, who cares. I thought about posting this one for some days now - there is obviously nothing special about the song or the video, but I do like the album title (the longer the better), and the husky tone in Diana's voice drives me totally itchy bananas. So i guess I do like it. To cut a long sentence short: right voice, wrong song. Today it's all: a voice a day keeps the doctor away.
