Big Deal - Distant Neighborhood

Big Deal - Distant Neighborhood - Komik videolar izle

A: Big Deal
S: Distant Neighborhood
C: Lights Out

Big Deal are exactly that, a Big Deal. And Lights Out might just be one of the greatest break up albums, up there with Pete Yorn & Scarlett Johansson's Breakup. Not that I know all the break up albums. But I guess there's always something or someone we are breaking up with, so there can't be enough of these bittersweet albums around.

... now there’s nothing left to do but watch you go.

Vacationer - Gone

A: Vacationer
S: Gone
C: Gone (out 20.03.12)

Vacationer... you cannot not like a band that has the word holiday in its name (they get points for that). And makes great music that sounds just the same (add another point). Basically 2012 is off to a great start when it comes to songs. Everything else has been pretty shitty. And if it wasn't, the fact alone that it wasn't would be enough to complain about.

... dreaming of you is never enough.

Perfume Genius - Hood

A: Perfume Genius
S: Hood
C: Put Your Back N 2 It

If this doesn't lighten up your Monday morning, I don't know what will. Normally I wouldn't even call something that doesn't last two minutes a song, let alone post it. But this can't be missed. And yes I did my research, the hairy one is Arpad Miklos, some Hungarian adult actor, and no he is most likely not to come along for any live shows.

... you would never call me baby - if you knew me truly.

Anna Ternheim - My Heart Still Beats For You

A: Anna Ternheim
S: My Heart Still Beats For You
C: Leaving On A Monday

It says this an acoustic version. So I thought there would be another version. Which seemed a bit pointless because what would you want to add to a song like this. Anyway, after extensive investigation I found that this accoustic version is the only version there is. Besides that Ternheim is Swedish, fluent in French and performing in English.

... and I lied alot too - maybe to forget you.

Exitmusic - Passage

A: Exitmusic
S: Passage
C: Passage (out 22.05.12)

This has been posted on Monday and has only 171 clicks. How very rude. It's pure genius. If you ask me. It might not be the brightest of songs, but then I'm not in the brightest of moods, because it's not the brightest of times. Besides that, Facebook is introducing timeline for pages, which means I will simply highlight every single post I post.

Poolside - Do You Believe?

A: Poolside
S: Do You Believe?
C: Do You Believe? - EP

Lyricswise, this is pure genius. No kidding. Plus it is filmed on a Super 8 camera lookalike. But most importantly, it sounds exactly like Friday, which, thank Poseidon, it is. On the band: Los Angeles based duo Filip Nikolic and Jeffrey Paradise are good friends who are inspired by California, mezcal, dancing, good food and having fun.

... do you believe that we have what it takes?

Santigold - Disparate Youth

A: Santigold
S: Disparate Youth
C: Disparate Youth - Single

It was my flatmate's boyfriend birthday yesterday. How cute. There is always a certain amount of compassion for people who's birthday is on the 29th of February, no? Anyway, she baked a cake, which looked a bit dry to me but I am sure it did the job. As for Lady Santigold, you can download her new single Big Mouth for free on her website.

... but if we go - we go together.
