Phosphorescent - Song For Zula

A: Phosphorescent
S: Song for Zula
C: Muchacho

Songs like these aren't made for fall, it's the other way round. Fall is made for songs like these. Song For Zula is big. Very, very big.

... I saw love disfigure me into something I am not recognizing.

Brooklyn-based artist Matthew Houck, aka Phosphorescent, has admitted that his latest album Muchacho was inspired by the cutting losses of his studio, his girlfriend, and his mind. The heartbreak is loud, clear, lovely, and maybe just a little hopeful on his single "Song for Zula."

Monte - You Should Know (Original Mix)

A: Monte
S: You Should Know (Original Mix)
C: 5 Years Of Jakemode

Here's a little something I brought back from the weekend. Apparently you can send this track to your "crush" and they might get an idea of what´s going on. As I said, apparently.

... you should know, for real.

Small Feet - Rivers

A: Small Feet
S: Rivers
C: Rivers - EP

Here's what happened. I closed my eyes for five seconds and all of a sudden summer was gone. Which makes songs like this one fit perfectly into a current mood with a touch of fall.

... what finds you in, and what finds you out.

Christine And The Queens - Narcissus Is Back

A: Christine And The Queens
S: Narcissus Is Back
C: Mac Abbey

It's Sunday and this is Christine And The Queens, some French chanteuse who sings in English. Why? Because a French accent always works. Voila.

... a daring kiss now watches everything you miss.

Baby D - Let Me Be Your Fantasy

A: Baby D
S: Let Me Be Your Fantasy
C: Let Me Be Your Fantasy - Single

It's Saturday, I had brunch and now I'm drunk. Accept my apologies while I order another Bloody Mary.

... I'll fill your world with ecstacy.

The Head And The Heart - Shake

A: The Head And The Heart
S: Shake
C: Let's Be Still

If you think there is too much fiddeling going on with Mumford & Sons and The Lumineers went to big too fast, here's everything you've been waiting for. The Head And The Heart, underrated for the better.

... the ink in my plan went dry long before your smile.

Kings of Leon - Wait For Me

A: Kings of Leon
S: Wait For Me
C: Mechanical Bull (out 23.09.13)

I figure these Kings won't return toYouth & Young Manhood anytime soon. But as long as Caleb's voice sounds warmer than a sunset, I won't hold that against them. Sometimes it's good to make peace.

... I travelled all the way.
