The Presets - No Fun

A: The Presets
S: No Fun
C: No Fun - Single

Here's a cup of summer, served straight up by one of Australia's hottest exports. If you listen closely, you can taste a dash of much needed vodka. The one I was missing this weekend.

... this is a feeling I haven't felt for a while.

Rhonda - Camera

A: Rhonda
S: Camera
C: Camera - Single

In a world dominated by self-reflection, self-obsession and selfies, it was only a matter of time until a song called Camera was released. That time is now. Tiki tiki bom bom.

... would you be my camera?

Jamie T - Sticks 'n' Stones

A: Jamie T
S: Sticks 'n' Stones
C: Kings & Queens

NME is freakingly excited. I only need a reason to post a song. But rumor has it Jamie T is back with new material. While the world waits, I'll take the chance and post a song from his last album.

... boys like him don't shine so bright.

Tony Carey - Room With A View

A: Tony Carey
S: Room With A View
C: Room With A View - Single

Happy 4th of America, still one of my favourite countries in the world - I don't care what anybody says. So here we go, with maybe not the most American of singers, but the video does the job.

... they say it never rains in L.A. county.

Little Dragon - Pretty Girls

A: Little Dragon
S: Pretty Girls
C: Pretty Girls - Single

They say that beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. Same goes for girls, I guess. And songs, too. Anyway, Little Dragon create beautiful places of beauty with every song they write.

... the sugar don’t live up.

Canned Heat - Going Up The Country

A: Canned Heat
S: Going Up The Country
C: Going Up The Country

Here's a song that will get you into this summer's hippie feeling. If not, I can also recommend Simon & Garfunkel, or the whole Forrest Gump soundtrack. Enjoy.

... I'm going to some place where I've never been before.

Shout Out Louds - Illusions

A: Shout Out Louds
S: Illusions
C: Optica

There is nothing that says sweet sweet summer more than some sweet Swedish shalalala. So here it goes. Last year's album Optica still sounds as fresh today.

... a heart is what a heart is.
