Sons Of The East - Already Gone

A: Sons Of The East
S: Already Gone

Having given the Sons of Mumford, Of Monster and Men, The Lumineers and the likes a run for their money, Sons of The East have quietly debuted their first long player down under. Follow them on their first national tour in their new video.

... every time I try, I fail.

Purple Flash - We Can Make It

A: Purple Flash
S: We Can Make It

Here's one for Orlando, for America, for the world. Love will always win.

... if we try.

Arctic Monkeys - Love Is A Laserquest

A: Arctic Monkeys
S: Love Is A Laserquest

This might just be the bestest love song ever written, about love in its most common form, which is, and always will be, unrequited love. Because in the end, when we're all not being honest, and pretend that all were just some lovers.

...you're always busy being make believe.

Mo - Final Song

A: Mo
S: Final Song

With a hint of Spice Girls' Say You'll Be There, Mo turns a deserted desert once again into a dancefloor. In the absolutely top-shelf pop video, we see MØ floating magically above an alien-looking mountain landscape, dancers figure in heavily, as does some sort of albino snake.

... but when you're gone the music goes.

MayaVanya Feat. Chelsea Jade - Diving Board

A: MayaVanya Feat. Chelsea Jade
S: Diving Board

Fresh from down under comes electro duo MayaVanya with their new single Diving Board. And since I am all about pools these days, it is a perfect fit. If it wasn't, Chelsea Jade's eerie vocals would be reason enough for this post.

... I thought love is cleaner when we started this thing.

Wild Beasts - Get My Bang

A: Wild Beasts
S: Get My Bang

This might not be an instant favourite, but it is definitely a grower. And as you might now from experience, those are usually the ones that stick with you for longer. Boy King, the band's next album, is out early August.

... if they're hungry then just let them eat cake.

Teddy Pendergrass - The More I Get, The More I Want

A: Teddy Persergrass
S: The More I Get, The More I Want

How about we turn this Wednesday into Saturday and start funking things up half way through the week instead of just two lame days at the end of the week? Here to do the job are my two Friends, Teddy and Disco.

... you're always there.
