KROY - River

A: KROY
S: River

Straight outta Montreal comes KROY aka Camille Poliquin, formerly known as one half of synth-pop duo Milk & Bone. Going solo, KROY visually switched to as goth as goth can, and musically to as cool as emotions go.

... I gave my heart away to live another day.

Jamie xx - Gosh

S: Gosh

If you were looking for some eye candy, eye porn or eye extravaganza, you came to the right place. Having this video pop up all over my news feed made me listen to the entire song for the first time, and once you make it through the first half, it really is a matter of oh my gosh.

... keeping the vibe alive!

Molly Nilsson - Think Pink

A: Molly Nilsson
S: Think Pink

Fresh off the moon comes La Nilsson's latest and breezy single. Think Pink in the lead up to a new yet to be named album set for November. Rounding on the elites and their political minions, it comes just a year after the release of the excellent Zenith.

... don't let them tell you where your mind may roam.

Óðinn Valdimarsson Feat. Ísland - Ég Er Kominn Heim

A: Óðinn Valdimarsson Feat. Ísland
S: Ég Er Kominn Heim

Let me put it this way: You have not lived until you saw this beautiful rendition of half a stadium singing this, I take it their unofficial, national anthem. Pure emotions, not just for football fans. Let's all be more Island!

... allt er bjart fyrir okkur tveim.

Still Corners - Lost Boys

A: Still Corners
S: Lost Boys

Last we heard from synthpoppers Still Corners was back in 2013, when they released Strange Pleasures. The British duo just announced a new LP titled Dead Blue, which is due out in September. Here to tease you is its debut single.

... saints with sins and heroines.

Arcade Fire - Antichrist Television Blues

A: Arcade Fire
S: Antichrist Television Blues

For whatever reason, I never got into Neon Bibel until recently. But I remember walking through a record store at the time, on a date. The other guy got offended that an apparently unkown band was number one. I knew we wouldn't get far because not knowing Arcade Fire after Funeral says more about you than the state of the charts.

... you're gonna have your day in the sun.

New Order - Singularity

A: New Order
S: Singularity

Today five years ago, on a sunny Friday morning much like today, I arrived in a city called Berlin. Time to thank this urban jungle for a ride that, so far, I've never regretted for a single minute. So here's to the next five.

... I can feel you close to me.
