... we’ll be all right.

Kylie Minogue - Santa Baby

A: Kylie Minogue
S: Santa Baby

Here, take this and let's be done with Santa Clause Day already. This might just be the wonderfullest of all the many versions this song has to offer, and yes I know that Madonna sang it first, but Kylie was always camp as Christmas, so she wins this.

... think of all the fellas that I haven't kissed.

Belle Adair - Neptune City

A: Belle Adair
S: Neptune City

Muscle Shoals four-piece Belle Adair has unveiled Neptune City, the latest from their forthcoming record Tuscumbia, out 19 January. The track is a nostalgic reflection on a breezy summer from the distance of a biting winter that, as singer and lyricist Matthew Green puts it ...

... will be the death of me.

Almeeva - What Is Love

A: Almeeva
S: What Is Love

Because why not. Simply take what was already good and make it better. After all, Haddaway's original might just be the best pop song written, produced and sung in a decade called the 90s and since we're almost through receclying everything 80s, this might be the next best thing.

... don't hurt me.

Dan Michaelson - Careless

A: Dan Michaelson
S: Careless

Following the release of first track Old Kisses earlier last month, Dan has now shared new single Careless. It's the album opener of his first record away from his usual gig The Coastguards, out on the 8th and called First Light.

... love makes you give more than you think.

Kalli Ma - High Shot

A: Kalli Ma
S: High Shot

Having debuted with Promises earlier in 2017, London electronic post-punk duo Kalli Ma have now released their new single. Last week they shared a video for the track. Directed by Katia Ganfield of No Tape Inside, it follows actor Alexander Arnold (Skins, My Cousin Rachel, The Salvation) on a trippy day around London.

... keep pushing my love.

Blakk Pearl - Cowboy

A: Blakk Pearl
S: Cowboy

London born, France resident singer Blakk Pearl has released her debut single. It's the first track taken from her first EP, out early next year. Cowboy is sleek and commodious, driven by a subtle backbeat and a warm marimba sound, with Blakk Pearl’s haunting, mellifluent tones floating atop the lush dreamscape, gorgeous and otherworldly.

... everyone needs a cowboy like you.
