Honestly, I'm just going to copy/paste the band's internet 'about' section today. Call me lazy. Brother-sister duo Muchuu (Japanese – meaning to be in an ecstatic delirious trance) have been writing and recording music since 2008. The combination of George's piano arrangements and Millie's melodies and poetic lyrics makes for beautiful, hooky, electro music.

Maria Taylor. Mmmh, what to say. Masterplan isn't the current single, so there is no video. But I love the song. As most of Maria's songs. If the voice sounds familiar, you might know it from Azure Ray, a duo she used to play in. Or because some songs were featured on Grey's Anatomy. Or on Bones. Or because she used to date Connor Oberst. Or still does.

... and we'll hate what we've lost - but we'll love what we find.

This might look like a 3 minutes 53 long commercial for ugg boots (yes the band is from Australia and yes it is amazing what a tiny bit of slow motion can do in a clip), but it is much more, of course. It's Tom Smith (whom you might know as the singer of Editors) and Andy Burrows (We Are Scientists, Razorlight) doing some sort of winter slash Christmas album, in a not so classical way, which is why I like it so much. I get the slight feeling indie is discovering the festive season anyway, never OTT. Which is why this is big. Huge. I like.

If you like James Blake, you are going to love Sydney born Oliver Tank, who's like 21 years old, just saying. I'm never one to compare artists, but there is some similarity here, and with my love for artists from down under, I'm excited about this one. The use of the vibrant violin, combined with that thing that sounds like electrical castanets - gorgeous.

On the main page they integrated a riddle/game to play (actually called a doodle), in honor of some Stanislaw Lem, who would have turned 90 some weeks ago, if he hadn't died 5 years ago.
