Jace Everett - I Wanna Do Bad Things With You

A: Jace Everet
S: I Wanna Do Bad Things With You
C: True Blood Soundtrack

Being probably the last person on planet earth who's recently started watching True Blood, this should come as no surprise and is long overdue. Has anybody heard of Jace Everett before the show? Probably not. Plus another thing I came to discover recently, the joy of following other people's playlists on spotify! True Blood, for example.

... when you came in - the air went out.

Theme Park - Jamaica

A: Theme Park
S: Jamaica
C: Jamaica - Single (out 13.08.12)

Ah well, it's the morning after and with the right track, things are only half as bad. Hello Germany. Maybe it's the sun helping, too. Anyway, back to business as usual. Jamaica is Theme Park's second single of their debut album, due out in October. The single is released on the 13th of August. On Ltd 7" and digitally, just saying.

... found it in me - to be your lover.

Lana Del Rey - National Anthem

A: Lana Del Rey
S: National Anthem
C: Born To Die

I don't care about who liked her first, who never liked her or who dislikes her for what reason. To me, Lana is still and always stunning and I want to live in an appartment where screens on the walls loop her videos on repeat. I want to live in her world where style is king and names are random. Can I please.

... summer's in the air and baby - heaven's in your eyes.

Echo Lake - Even The Blind

C: Even The Blind - EP

Echo Lake is a popular name for a lake. There are a few such names in provinces across Canada, and a handful more across the United States. Echo Lake is also the name of the London five piece, who have released their debut album, Wild Peace. Even The Blind features Linda on vocals, with layers of shimmering guitars providing the rhythms to the driving beat of the song.

... this was your time - so why did you leave.

Violet - I Come Undone

A: Violet
S: I Come Undone
C: Y.O.U. - EP

Ignore the video. Ok here we go: It might sound a bit like that Nancy girl, but it still sound pretty pretty, especially coming from Pixie Geldof! She, apparently, started writing songs and playing the guitar when she was just eleven. She has been busy rehearsing, writing and performing intimate shows and carefully honing her sound.

... in your tears.

Michael Jackson - Man In The Mirror

A: Michael Jackson
S: Man In The Mirror
C: Bad

Here's to the king, who died on a day like today, three years ago. I might just point out that I never, ever, listened to a single song of his while he was alive. Guess that is what tabloids can do to you. And I've had his records on repeat ever since. Guess that is what a music genius does to you.

... take a look at yourself - and then make a change.

Trust - Sulk

A: Trust
S: Sulk
C: TRST

A little gloom never hurt no Sunday. And this is actually beautiful. Especially the video. And most certainly the weather report. So, Trust is a Canadian synthpop music group formed 2010 in Toronto.
The band is composed of Robert Alfons and Maya Postepski (also of the band Austra). Pretty nice mix, I'd say.

... fold your heels and skip the why - honestly, I can't take tonight.
