Azealia Banks - No Problems

A: Azealia Banks
S: No Problems
C: No Problems - EP

Here's yet another song by La Banks who keeps postponing the release of her debut album. Maybe she should never release it and keep her a song at a time routine up - after all, this is the area of playlists, not albums.

... bad queen is my pedigree, bad bitch is my legacy.

Pet Shop Boys - Being Boring

A: Pet Shop Boys
S: Being Boring
C: Behaviour

I can't even begin to picture this city without snow anymore. Therefore I am pretty convinced that even if spring slash summer does arrive one day (fat chance, I know), the snow will just stay and continue to cover everything.

... we had too much time to find for ourselves.

Lana Del Rey - Chelsea Hotel No. 2 (Leonard Cohen Cover)

A: Lana Del Rey
S: Chelsea Hotel No. 2
C: Chelsea Hotel No. 2 - Single

I turned officially old yesterday and I  am still getting used to this brand new feeling. Anyway, this is what happened. Jokingly, I went for the popular '... you probably weren't even born then'. Turned out I was right.

... never mind, we are ugly but we have the music.

Spring Offensive - Worry Fill My Heart

A: Spring Offensive
S: Worry Fill My Heart
C: Worry Fill My Heart - Single

Since spring is still nowhere to be found, I thought we might fight winter with a bit of Spring Offensive. They have guitars, they have driving rhythms, they sing in harmony and they mean it. If nothing is ventured, nothing is gained

... oh me oh my hearts just not in this.

Vampire Weekend - Step

A: Vampire Weekend
S: Step
C: Modern Vampires Of The City (out 03.05.13)

This is so sweet I don't even want to say anything about it. Except that Vampire Weekend's third album Modern Vampires Of The City will hit your boom box on May 3rd and that my repeat button is already filing a lawsuit.

... wisdom's a gift, but you'd trade it for youth.

Laura Welsh - Unravel

A: Laura Welsh
S: Unravel
C: Unravel- EP

If you liked Jessie Ware you will love Laura Welsh. Says me who is against comparing artists. Oh well, pointing out similarities never hurt nobody. Same as accepting differences hasn't.

... so take what you want from me.

Matthew Herbert - It's Only

A: Matthew Herbert
S: It's Only
C: Bodily Functions

There are days that are as marvellous as an entire dance, and there are songs that are as beautiful as a poem. This might be such a day, and if not, this is definitely such a song. Here's to lost Mondays, and to Matthew Herbert.

... it's only my opening eyes taking pictures of you.
