My Brightest Diamond - Pressure

A: My Brightest Diamond
S: Pressure
C: Pressure - Single

Here's a rhythm that will whip you into shape to make it through this Tuesday. Just follow the ketamine-heavy drums (yes that is an adjective now, I've picked it up when browsing through The Guardian).

... I forgot the sound of diamonds.

Betty Wright - I Am Woman

A: Betty Wright
S: I Am Woman
C: The Platinum Collection

Emma Watson held a speech at the UN about feminism and woman and equality. Maybe you've heard about it. Important stuff. Here's a shorter and funkier version of said speech. Just saying.

... If I have to, I can do anything.

Vampire Weekend - Ya Hey

A: Vampire Weekend
S: Ya Hey
C: Modern Vampires Of The City

Ok I will keep this short. It's Sunday morning, this is Vampire Weekend's best song ever ever, and I cut half my right thumb off last night - which makes copy pasting etc. a little bit, call it: annoying.

... you won't even say your name.

Thom Yorke - A Brain In A Bottle

A: Thom Yorke
S: A Brain In A Bottle
C: Tomorrow's Modern Boxes

Thom Yorke has released a new album, titled Tomorrow's Modern Boxes, via BitTorrent (which frankly, is a bit a pain in the ass, but do it anyway). The album is described as an experiment by Yorke.

... steel hands have come to talk to us.

Saint Saviour - Let It Go

A: Saint Saviour
S: Let It Go
C: In The Seams

Here's everything you need to know today: Saint Saviour is awesome and her new album is called In The Seams - that's seams, not sesame. Sesame is awesome too, by the way.

... every night a day has died.

Ryan Adams - My Wrecking Ball

A: Ryan Adams
S: My Wrecking Ball
C: Ryan Adams

Ryan Adams’ new self-titled LP is one of the best things he’s ever released, and even though its singles are really goddamn good, there are at least four songs on this thing that are better still.

... come and knock me down tonight.

YES I'M VERY TIRED NOW - Common World

A: YES I'M VERY TIRED NOW
S: Common World
C: Common World - EP

Here's more music for your autumn playlist - or any other playlist you are currently listening to. And if you close your eyes and make a wish, it might just be that YIVTN is touring your city anytime soon.

... you came along again, at the wrong time.
