Big Sean Feat. Lil Wayne, Jhene Aiko - Beware (Explicit)

A: Big Sean Feat. Lil Wayne, Jhene Aiko
S: Beware
C: Beware - Single

Hiphop, to me, is most probably the ultimate proof how clever music can be - especially when it comes to lyrics, obviously. Here to back up this theory of mine is Big Sean and that Lil Wayne, and somebody called Jhene Aiko.

... why you let these hoes tear what we had right apart?

Young Karin - Sirens

A: Young Karin
S: Sirens
C: Sirens - Single

Right then, use your brain one last time before you let it explode all over the weekend. This is Icelandic band Young Karin, formerly known as Highlands, from Reykjavík and their genre is digital.

... we used to laugh, now the tables have turned.

ON AN ON - Drifting

A: ON AN ON
S: Drifting
C: Drifting - Single

Releasing their first song in two years, it's On An On! Remember when we fell in love with them first time around with Every Song and The Hunter? Judging from Drifting, history will repeat itself, turning this crush into a love affair.

... it's not you, it's just a dream, just a fake.

Florence + the Machine - What Kind Of Man

A:  Florence + the Machine
S: What Kind of Man

C: How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful (out 29.05.15)

Think a relationship standing at a crossroad, on the verge of breaking up, or maybe taking another turn. What Kind Of Man will be its ultimate anthem. Mark your calendars, How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful is out May 29.

... sometimes you're half in and then you're half out.

Sufjan Stevens - No Shade In The Shadow Of The Cross

A: Sufjan Stevens
S: No Shade In The Shadow Of The Cross
C: Carrie & Lowell

Once again, Sufjan Stevens is finger-picking and whisper-singing to guide us towards cold moments of solitude and reverence. It's comforting to hear his voice again, only inches from our ears. Carrie & Lowell, his seventh LP, is out March 31.

... I take one more hit when you depart.

The Singles - Candy

A: The Singles
S: Candy
C: Candy - Single

Scarlett Johansson has joined a girl group! ScarJo, Holly Miranda, Kendra Morris, Julia Haltigan, and Este Haim (yes, the HAIM girl) make up The Singles, and their first song, "Candy," sounds like if Robyn hung out with TV on the Radio and the Go-Go's.

... you got me in the mood for love.

Rose Laurens - American Love

A: Rose Laurens
S: American Love
C: American Love - Single

If this foxy lady won't get you into your funky Sunday mood, I don't know what will. When it comes to music's history, the eighties were definitely my favourite time of all times. Where the hell did it all go wrong?

... won't you come back, and stay.
