The Jezabels - Come Alive

A: The Jezabels
S: Come Alive

Are you ready for the first track of the third and forthcoming album by The Jezabels. Two words: hauntingly beautiful, as always. Even if their dark side seems to take a darker turn with this first release.

... I come alive.

Sia - One Million Bullets

Sia - One Million Bullets (Audio) von zappingtounsi

A: Sia
S: One Million Bullets

Morning world - new Sia y'all! One Million Bullets is from her next album This Is Acting, out Jauary 29. Like the best of Sia, it is a soaring ballad, and, more importantly, a promise to significant amount of firepower to the chest for you, more than Bruno Mars, who's only willing to tackle a single grenade.

... I picked the wrong kind, time after time.

Patrick Wolf - S.O.S.

A: Patrick Wolf
S: S.O.S.

Having return Patrick Wolf with his first new material in four years is, quite frankly, the bestest coincidental birthday present one can get. It's not all Adele out here in a land called talent, you know.

... take your turn to return.

Christine and The Queens - Christine

A: Christine and The Queens
S: Christine

It's my party and I can Christine if I want to. Here to help us celebrate is French songstress Christine, and she brought her Queens to help us celebrate and rise to the occasion.

... le ciel coule sur mes mains.

Tobias Jesso Jr. - True Love

+

A: Tobias Jesso Jr.
S: True Love

He's Adele's favourite, and he should be yours too. Introducing Tobias Jesso Jr. His music has been compared to singer/songwriters of the 1960s and 1970s from Randy Newman to Harry Nilsson, which is basically as good as they get.

... I can hardly breathe without you.

Kate Boy - In Your Eyes

A: Kate Boy
S: In Your Eyes

If they sounds like Sweden, look like Sweden and act like Sweden, they are probably from Sweden. Kate Boy are, except singer Kate Akhurst, who's from down under, and apparently the lezzer du jour, having slipped my radar until today.

... I cross the line to keep the connection.

Adele - When We Were Young

A: Adele
S: When We Were Young
C: 25

Although it has all the poise, ennui, and emotional intelligence of someone deep into her golden years, Adele's new album takes its name from the age that psychologists recently deemed, for her generation, at least, the end of adolescence.

... a part of me keeps holding on.
