Hymn No 5 - it's the Hymn of all Hymns, it's an Anthem. It is, in my humble opinion, probably the best song ever written. It's overplayed, it's commercial but it has everything a song has to offer, and most of all, most importantly, it has yet so simple, yet so catchy lyrics. The best songwriter always say it the simple way.
It's the song that gives me goosebumps when there are 30 degrees outside. It doesn't get any better than that.

Hymn No 4 - I never even knew a video for this song existed. It is, lyric-wise, my favorite Killers song ever:
.. saw Cinderella in a party dress - but she was looking for a nightgown .. might be one of the greatest song lines ever written.

Talking bout Hymns, i think every Killers song is a Hymn in it's own right. All things Killers is all things American, it's the America I love.
Enough said, right, no: Brandon looked better with moustache, but then we all do, and that would be a whole other story.

Hymn No 3 - ha, Coldplay. I always say the world wouldn't be the same without the voice of Chris Martin. It would be a dark and gloomy place to live. Well there's the voice, and the fact that he's one of the sexiest men alive, obviously.
However, ever since X&Y kicked in, Coldplay have the old argumentation going around every time they release an album, outraged independent fans scream about the band producing songs for mainstream purpose only. I'd say shut up, listen and enjoy.

Kings Of Leon - Sex On Fire

Hymn No 2 - Sex on fire made the Kings bigger than the stadiums in which they are playing now. It probably made them God, somehow, which is great, and somehow not so great. I remember, up until Because Of The Times, the big masses didn't know nor liked the Kings, or the Gods for that matter, when I played Charmer in the bar I was working at at the time, and people complained about all the screaming that was going on in that song. Those were the cool Leon days .. figure you can't be God AND be cool.

The Fray's second single will probably always remain their biggest one, not to say that they haven't produced great songs ever since then, but 'How To Save A Life' is one of the songs that a band, usually, only manages to pull off once. It's a HYMN!

.. the funniest thing ever happened yesterday when I listened to the song for the very first time: I actually wanted to press repeat before the song ended! It's the beat, it's the tempo, it's the drum!
I hope Amy never releases this as a single, it's just gonna ruin the song, which is perfection now, so anything else added is just gonna make it worse.
