Young Rebel Set are so unpretentiously brilliant that they are hard to compare to other bands. Thinking about it, those are the two key elements that make a great band. Getting the instant feeling that their music is just about music and not themselves being stars is the key ingredient which many other indie bands are lacking these days.

This was released two years ago, but I only discovered it recently. As for the band, being Scottish which I love anyway, I obviously adore the name (yes Mr. Fox, only thanks to you). As for the song, it fits perfectly into my 'I post an indie Christmas song on every Sunday in December before Christmas' scheme - just pointing that out, in case you didn't notice.

I've been in love with this track ever since I've heard it couple of weeks ago. The subtle monotony that leaves much to imagination while the song is actually called Daydream gets me every time. So anyway, there isn't much info about the band around at the moment. It's a duo, Asa Taccone & Matthew Compton, and their debut is out next year, January.
