This is your daily song calendar - every day there is a new song or music video waiting for you. Maybe you hate it, maybe you love it - maybe you already know it or maybe you'll just discover something new! Either way, it's all about the music and a little bit about the lyrics. And since you're here, I will share what I've learned over the years: An apple a day keeps the doctor away but if the doctor is cute - screw the fruit!

S: Gold Dust Woman
Back in August, Julia Holter was pleased to share her mesmerizing cover of Fleetwood Mac’s Gold Dust Woman, available widely for the first time since its creation in 2012. Recorded after the release of Ekstasis, Holter’s take on Stevie Nicks’ classic adds a celestial layer of lucidity. RIP RBG below.

London Grammar are back with their new single, Baby It’s You. The three-piece first teased their comeback last month by posting a new band photograph on Instagram and writing: nothing else matters – now revealed to be lyrics from the band’s new single. Their first new music since the 2019 collaboration with Flume, Baby It’s You carries the trio’s familiar atmospherics and some of the more trance-driven elements akin to early single Metal & Dust, but also features a new, more colourful Balearic sound and vibe.

A: French 79
S: Hometown
Bonjour amour. French 79, real name Simon Henner has synthwave rhythms dripping with a bass-ridden groove and nostalgic magic. Both the single Hometown and its music video pretty much prove that point in the most pretty way. Even as it bleeps and rumbles with retro '80s sounds, it plays smooth and alluring on the edge of what modern electronic music should be. It's funky, infectious, and it's heavy with meaning for Henner. On adore.
